The 16 pairs are split into four groups of four. Each group plays a round-robin, so every pair plays three matches in the group stage.

- Open to novice players only. Players are ineligible if they have placed top 3 in D level or above in external leagues, or have competed in C level or above in external leagues.

Registration
We recommend signing up as a pair, but solo registration is also welcome. If you register individually, the organisers will assign you a partner where possible.

Knockout stage
Eight pairs advance to the quarterfinals. The knockout stage uses best-of-three matches.
- Each game to 15 points
- Change ends at 8 points
- Quarterfinals, semifinals, and final
Entry policy
This tournament is designed for novice players. Self-formed pairs are encouraged, but solo sign-ups are accepted and will be paired by the organisers.
